Automated Data Submission: Any server, application, or SDK transmitting data to FastStats without opting out is deemed to accept the then-current Terms on behalf of its operator.
Revision of Terms: FastStats may update these Terms at any time. Changes become effective upon publication. Users are responsible for reviewing revisions. Continued use constitutes acceptance.

Previous versions do not retroactively apply after revisions take effect.

3. Account and Security Requirements

Users must maintain the security of their credentials. Although credential sharing is discouraged, it is not prohibited; users assume all risk associated with such sharing.

Attempted or actual identity falsification is prohibited.

If FastStats becomes aware of identity abuse, the following enforcement sequence applies:

  1. Contact the user.
  2. Issue an official warning.
  3. Enforce corrective action, which may include moderator edits or project termination.
  4. Ban the account for repeated or unresolved violations.

Unauthorized access attempts or misuse of authentication mechanisms are handled using the same enforcement sequence.

4. SDK Licensing and Software Use

Official FastStats SDKs are licensed under the MIT License. Users may modify SDKs provided that license notices remain intact and all applicable laws and data requirements are followed.

The FastStats backend, frontend, and other software components published under the Creative Commons Non-Commercial license are governed by that license.

Users operating Self-Hosted Instances must comply with the applicable Creative Commons Non-Commercial license and maintain data anonymization standards equal to or greater than those enforced by FastStats.

5. Data Collection, Privacy, and Session Handling

Developers may use official or custom SDKs to transmit anonymized metrics to FastStats or to a Self-Hosted Instance.

Users must always be provided with an option to opt out of data submission.

Developers are prohibited from submitting personally identifiable information (PII), including but not limited to:

  • IP addresses
  • Names
  • Physical addresses
  • Location data
  • Any other data that can identify an individual

Developers must not attempt to deanonymize any collected or transmitted data.

To operate, secure, and improve the Service, FastStats uses analytics and monitoring tools that collect information about Service usage and technical behavior, including session-based interaction data. Such processing may be associated with a user account. Details regarding analytics tooling, including the use of PostHog, are described in the Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms.

6. Developer Responsibilities

Developers are responsible for ensuring their Projects comply with these Terms and with all applicable laws.

Developers must not use FastStats to collect or process unauthorized, sensitive, or personal data.

Developers may not attempt to bypass anonymization, reconstruct user identities, or associate metrics with identifiable individuals.

Violations are subject to the following enforcement process:

  1. Contact and notification of the issue.
  2. A formal warning if the issue is not resolved.
  3. Project modification by a moderator or project termination if necessary.
  4. Account ban for repeat or unresolved violations.
7. Developer-Submitted Data

Developers retain ownership of all data they submit.

Developers grant FastStats a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to store, process, and display submitted data for the operation of FastStats.

FastStats is not liable for:

  • The accuracy or legality of Developer-submitted data
  • Any third-party claims arising from Developer-submitted data

Developers are solely responsible for compliance with data protection laws applicable to their submitted content.

8. Intellectual Property Rights

FastStats retains exclusive ownership of all platform components except those released under MIT or Creative Commons licenses.

Trademarks, branding, proprietary assets, and non-open-source elements may not be copied, modified, or reused without explicit permission.

Users may not claim ownership of or rights to FastStats intellectual property except where explicitly licensed.

9. Service Availability, Enforcement, and Termination

FastStats may modify, suspend, or discontinue any service at any time without liability.

Accounts and Projects may be limited, modified, suspended, or terminated as part of the enforcement steps defined in these Terms.

Moderator edits to Projects may be applied to enforce compliance when required.

10. Limitation of Liability

FastStats is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

FastStats is not liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages
  • Loss of data, business interruption, or loss of profits
  • Damages arising from downtime, service interruptions, or data inaccuracies

To the extent permitted by law, FastStats' total liability for any claim will not exceed the fees paid to FastStats in the twelve months preceding the claim (if any).
